On his most recent shoe project Chima Ferguson has supported his local by bringing Vans Syndicate together with Supply Store. This is the Sydney-based store’s first official collaborative footwear release since opening twelve years ago. This shoe uses the classic Chima silhouette, it is made out of a Vans Duracap-fused Canvas upper. Supply’s Eureka Blue colourway is the one solid colour of the whole upper. An embroidered Southern Cross pattern repeats across it. “Terra Australis Incognita” or the unknown land of the South appears behind the tongue completing it’s subtle patriotism. It sits aboard a white sole unit.
They have a high-impact removable inner sole, a leather embossed Supply logo on the heel, Vans Ultracush Lite footbeds and a padded leather lined collar. These shoes come with a choice of blue or white flecked laces and come with a razor blade/bottle opener. In Chima’s own words “Razor blades are cool so we thought it would be a nice bonus to come with the shoe”. Get gripping and sipping!
