Ryan Hickey and his contribution to skateboarding is the stuff of legend. He is a New York native who remembers a more abrasive surrounding than the one which greets us today. He lived through a time when all eyes were on the West coast and was part of the movement which drew those same eyes East. He describes his journey and doesn’t mince any words.
