Here is a Slam City SKates Rat Signal Retrospective. Enjoy this look back through the vaults beginning with one from staff member and legend Andrew ‘Luigi’ Khosravani…
This city based signal was preceded by another Mark Jackson production focusing on a Charlie Young lunch break at Mile End…
If we now take a trip back to 2010 Henry Edwards-Wood was out on the streets filming and quite a few pieces of what he collected made it into Rat Signals. Of course a latter chunk of his time went into producing City Of Rats. He is still capturing the ever progressing London skate scene as can be seen in his latest offering Innocence And Experience. Here are some clips from days gone by. Rat Droppings was a Summer edit featuring familiar faces…
Another round-up of footage was his Spring Clean Out. There is some classic Southbank footage in there amongst a London tour…
There was also a November clean-out with classic John Tanner footage…
It’s good to look through what came before and often easy to forget what people have done at certain spots. Here’s the edit from 2008 which set it all off…
This featured the footage of a collection of filmers, namely Ben Dominguez, Neil Chester, Dan Magee, Henry Edwards-Wood, Morph, Ryan Gray and Matt Hirst. The 16mm intro was by Stuart Bentley and the edit by Dan Magee. It’s all of a high standard and ends with a young Lucien Clarke! Hope you have enjoyed this Rat Signal Retrospective roundup. Reminiscing now over, let’s look forward to what’s in the pipeline!
