It’s been a busy summer and this seems like a world away now but this is something we were beyond stoked to be a part of. The Primitive team blew through town and we were a secret destination at the beginning of the trip. They were on the cusp of turning Marek Zaprazny pro and Steve Douglas approached us to see if we would be happy to surprise him at our Covent Garden shop. While he was around the corner with our good friend Oliver Barton we had covered the wall with his new board and had his video on loop. When he walked through the door he was greeted by the team, champagne and a first look at his new board. It was a magical moment to be involved in and we treated them to a customary debrief at the Cross Keys afterwards.
