Nike Phenomenal House opened two days ago in The Sorting Office on New Oxford street. It has already seen plenty of action. With the World cup looming Nike have sought to celebrate their involvement with football in this temporary space. On the ground floor there is a brightly lit indoor cage football pitch where many winner stays on matches have been scheduled. There is a timeline of footwear showing early innovation through to the high performance boots available now and how they got to where we are now.
There is also a chance to try these on, food, music and more. A “Brotherhood of the feet” theme has seen upstairs taken over by Nike SB. Expect to see an exhibition of photographer Marcel Veldman‘s work from a recent trip. Having walked through this you will arrive at a football inspired skatepark. This has been heavily sessioned and is open for you to check out over the next few days. It’s worth a visit…

Smithy is pictured above running a full strip before some fierce four a side action in the cage downstairs. Check out galleries of pictures from the opening day from Kingpin and Sidewalk. You will definitely enjoy an afternoon at the park, everything is in place for a good skate. Expect to see what went down there very soon. Shop with us for Nike SB.
