Go Skateboarding Day Gallery

Crowd1

Yesterday was Go Skateboarding Day and the crowds gathered outside our East store. We teamed up with Nike SB again this year, we had a route scheduled as well as a few surprises. U.S Nike SB team riders Donovon Piscopo and John Fitzgerald were in tow, they had been in town all week on Hockey business. Surprise guest Willis Kimbel also made the trip across the pond. They were joined by UK team riders Casper Brooker, Chris Jones, Tom Harrison, Neil Smith, Jak Pietryga and new TM Vaughan Baker. These guys, good weather and an overwhelming amount of skateboarders keen for the day meant we were winning already. Enjoy this gallery of photos taken by Maksim Kalanep

The wacky races went off

John Fitzgerald was one of many dust covered casualties

Willis wired it quickly and squeezed in an ollie

Casper led the crowds down the canal and into Victoria park

Neil Smith cooked up more challenges. Winners received shoes and some were given cruisers from the last spot

Donovan Piscopo tore the bowl to bits. Back Smith in the deep end

Willis Kimbel floated around every corner at mach 10 which was a joy to watch

Crowds were drawn to the Go Skateboarding Day action wherever we went
