Dominic Marley Photo Exhibition

Posted on

Dominic Marley has been a friend of ours here at Slam for many years. He is an amazing photographer who cut his teeth shooting skate photos for many different magazines. Naturally very good at this, he honed his skills quickly, coupled them with his ambitious imagination and photos soon became covers. His ideas and vision have found him in a situation where diverse projects have evolved and one of them, a personal project, is the reason for this post. For the last two years he has been working with Eagle Heights in Kent photographing birds of prey in a studio environment…

The aim of this labour of love has been to capture the nature of these creatures. In Dom’s own words ‘I like to give subjects room to breath and keep everything in camera and very natural. So the final images are simply just an appreciation of how amazing and fascinating these animals are.’ He has put together a body of work which focuses around these majestic birds in flight. Tomorrow will be the first time any of these images have been displayed. The exhibition for these photos is titled ‘Flight’ and it will take place at Jaguar Shoes, 32-34 Kingsland Rd, London E2 8DA. Tomorrow is the opening night so go along and see these amazing photographs from 7PM. If you can’t make it you can still find time to take in the show because it runs from October 29th until 6th of December.
